Hi I'm Bryan and I am the Retail Manager at John Owen travel, I have been in the travel trade for the past thirty years. It's not the same as it was but the good news is that at John Owen Travel we will encourage you to develop your knowledge and your skills so that you can be a true travel expert and make your job enjoyable and rewarding.
Since I have been in travel I have visited most of the world but the one thing you do realise is that the more places you have visited - the more places you realise that you have not seen!. John Owen Travel is still a great company to work for, your contribution is genuinely valued and you re rewarded for excellent performance. I'm Jo, I have just rejoined John Owen Travel after an extended maternity leave.
Since joining John Owen Travel I have visited Los Angeles, Philadelphia and New York in the USA and most of Spain. I have studied and completed all of the British Airways Fares and Ticketing courses and I have also achieved the same with the Association of Train Operating Companies. Currently I am attending the Kuoni Long Haul College learning about exotic destinations such as the Far East. I believe John Owen Travel is a great place to work as the company believes in your ability and is always helping you to improve. We also have a good laugh. 
My name is Adam, I joined John Owen Travel six years ago straight from school.
I worked in Leisure Travel for five years before moving to Business Travel, currently I am studying for my BA Fares and Ticketing course. I have also studied National Express Procedures and Association of Training Operating Companies Certificate. I have travelled to Dubai, the Gambia and Disneyworld, Florida on educational trips. I enjoy working at John Owen Travel because I am treated as one of the key members of the team and I am also responsible for the Foreign Currency Bureau. We are a keen and motivated company, constantly looking for new business and completely focused on Customer Care and satisfaction.  My name is Kirstie and I have been with John Owen Travel for three months, although I have not yet been on an Educational trip I have completed a 'Sandals & Beaches' Training Day and I have also attended training with Worldspan which is the Worldwide Airline Reservation System. I can now book airline flights all over the world, indeed we are the only Travel Agency in Swindon where you can purchase and have issued a scheduled airline ticket on the same day!
Previous to working at John Owen travel I worked as cabin Crew for Virgin Atlantic Airways and I lead a jet-setting lifestyle travelling mainly to the USA but also to Kong Kong, Japan, South Africa and India. I look forward to doing much more travelling on Educational trips with John Owen travel.
My first three months at John Owen Travel have been eventful and what I like about the company is that it is prepared to listen to new ideas and innovation and the aims of the team members and that of the company are in complete alignment. My own personal ambitions and that of the company completely match.
 Hi I'm Christine, I have been at John Owen Travel for nearly one year and it has been a really challenging time but we have stuck together as a team and we are trading successfully. It feels great each time we achieve another target or receive an award. Since I have been here we have won 'Investors in People', been nominated as 'Southern Agency of the Year' for the Truly Independent Professional Travellers Organisation (TIPTO) and won the Bronze Award from the Caribbean Tourism Organisation. Each time we win we always celebrate together.
During the past twelve months I have attended Educational Trips to Disneyland Resort, Paris and to Butlins and look forward to many more. Recently, I have been asked to 'buddy up' with new team members to ensure that their induction and training within the company goes smoothly. I very much feel part of the team here, currently I follow an Evening Course in Marketing at Swindon College which the Company will pay for when I complete it and pass the exam.
